Makerere University Joins the rest to mourn the death of Garissa Students

In the wake of the Al shabab the most deadliest again happened last week after the terrorists attacked and hit the students of Moi University in Garissa.The students who were attending overnite prayers popularly known as 'kesha' in Kenya were not fortunate enough to see the awaited Easter Sunday.

Sad as it is the terrorists seemed so proud some kind of notably achievement they said'. This was unfortunate for the poor souls who were joining millions around the world for commerate the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

Makerere University together with other universities have decided to join our comrades in this un sudden yet most tragic incidence to let them know that we feel their pain.

A night vigil has been organized at the Freedom Square with candle light in remembrance of our fallen comrades.A peaceful demonstration there after to the Kenyan Embassy to pay our condolences.Alot of activities will follow after like Film Viewing,Dance and Drama.

To the 147 students or more my heart goes out to you  and may you find eternal peace.

We from Makerere say may their souls rest in Peace.
